Job Description & How to Apply Below

QXO is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing, and complementary building products in the U.S. We are building a technology-enabled people data foundation to support rapid growth, acquisitions, and better workforce decision-making.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead, HR Data Governance & M&A Integration to join the People Insights & Analytics team. This role will support the backend HR data foundation across QXO’s HR platforms, Oracle environment, reporting layers, and data warehouse structures.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on HR data quality, governance, mapping, validation, acquisition data integration, and reporting readiness. The ideal candidate has experience with HR data, Oracle Fusion Analytics or data warehouse environments, SQL, data mapping, data-quality controls, and M&A or system integration work.

Key Responsibilities HR Data Governance & Quality
  • Establish and maintain HR data quality standards, governance controls, and source-of-truth documentation.
  • Support HR data dictionaries, metric definitions, metadata, mapping logic, and data lineage.
  • Build validation routines, reconciliation checks, and issue tracking processes for critical HR data.
  • Help ensure HR data is accurate, standardized, secure, and aligned to approved reporting definitions.
  • Support governance for core HR domains such as employee identity, worker status, job, position, manager, location, cost center, compensation, recruiting, and termination data.
M&A Data Integration
  • Support HR data intake, profiling, mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and validation for acquisitions.
  • Assess acquired-company HR data for completeness, consistency, quality, and fit with QXO’s standard data model.
  • Create repeatable templates, crosswalks, mapping files, and validation processes for acquisition data.
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, Enterprise Analytics, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Legal, and People Analytics to determine whether acquired-company data should be converted, staged, archived, mapped, or retained separately.
  • Help integrate acquired populations into QXO’s standard HR reporting and analytics environment.
Oracle HCM & Data Warehouse Readiness
  • Support Oracle HCM data readiness, including conversion validation, historical data mapping, issue disposition, and Day 1 reporting readiness.
  • Review source extracts, mapping tables, transformation rules, conversion files, and load outputs for data-quality and reporting impacts.
  • Work with HRIS, IT, Enterprise Analytics, and implementation partners on data conversion, integration, testing, and validation.
  • Build and maintain backend data structures, lookup tables, crosswalks, data-quality rules, and validation logic.
  • Support governed HR datasets for Fusion Analytics, Big Query, Power BI, Tableau, Visier, or other approved analytics platforms.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, HR, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in HR data, HRIS data, data governance, data integration, data warehousing, People Analytics, or HR transformation.
  • Strong experience with HR data structures, including employee, job, position, organization, manager hierarchy, compensation, recruiting, performance, payroll/time adjacency, and termination data.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM, Oracle Fusion Analytics, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, OTBI, BIP, or similar Oracle reporting/data environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses or cloud data platforms such as Big Query, Snowflake, Oracle ADW, or similar.
  • Experience with data mapping, conversion logic, crosswalks, transformation rules, reconciliation, and data-quality validation.
  • Experience supporting M&A data integration, acquired-company data assessment, onboarding data integration, or HR data standardization preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as UKG, Success Factors, ADP, iCIMS, Cornerstone, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex, messy, or incomplete datasets.
Success in This Role Looks Like
  • HR data quality standards and governance practices are consistently applied across HR platforms and reporting environments.
  • Acquired-company data is mapped, validated, reconciled, and ready for governed reporting and analytics.
  • Oracle HCM and data warehouse readiness issues are tracked, tested, and dispositioned before major milestones.
  • Data dictionaries, mapping files, crosswalks, transformation rules, and validation logic are documented and maintained.
  • HR dashboards, Fusion Analytics outputs, and data warehouse tables are built on trusted, secure, and well-governed HR data.
