Employee Relations Manager

As an Employee Relations Manager at Spectrum, you will investigate sensitive cases, offer expert guidance and help build policies that protect both our people and our business. Your work will directly support a productive environment where employees and leaders can thrive.
ResponsibilitiesHow You'll Make an Impact
- Lead independent investigations into employee concerns for both exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring thorough documentation and timely resolution
- Recommend solutions for employee issues that align with Spectrum's policies and minimize risk while maintaining fairness
- Deliver training sessions to HR and business leaders on employee relations topics and serve as a consultant on best practices
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR, Legal, Security and Internal Audit to address complex investigations and support audits as needed
- Analyze case trends and advise leadership with strategic recommendations to proactively address underlying issues
- Support legal compliance by assisting with responses to regulatory agency charges and claims when necessary
- Manage special projects and participate in policy development and the implementation of employee relations procedures
Working Conditions
- Work in an office environment
- Travel at least 10%
What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
- 7+ years of recent experience as a human resources professional
- 5+ years of employee relations or human resources investigations experience
- Experience facilitating training for various employee groups
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
- Effective prioritization and organizational skills
- Demonstrated communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree
- PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred
- Certification in Internal Investigations preferred
