IDR is seeking a Lead Power BI Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Coppell, TX
. This role is integral to designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data models, metrics, and Power BI reports that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines Power BI visualization expertise with hands‑on data engineering experience in Databricks, building scalable, high-quality data products for enterprise and self-service analytics.

• Play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data models, metrics, and Power BI reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions that support strategic business goals.
• Blend Power BI visualization skills with data engineering expertise in Databricks to build high-quality data products.
• Support both enterprise and self-service analytics initiatives through interactive dashboards and certified datasets.
• Utilize advanced SQL and data transformation skills to ensure high performance and accuracy of data and reports.

• 8+ years of BI development experience, with a focus on Power BI.
• 5+ years experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, and KPI framework creation.
• 2+ years of recent Lead experience, mentoring and leading other Power
  
  BI Developers on the team.
• Hands‑on experience developing interactive dashboards and certified datasets for enterprise users.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying, validation, and performance optimization.
• Strong hands‑on skills in Databricks, including PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog, with the ability to collaborate with Data Engineers.
