** POSITION SUMMARY
** The Cloud Networking Engineer role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation and security of cloud networks, making it a vital position in any organization leveraging Azure technologies. The main focus will be developing and deploying Azure-based network architectures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
** DESCRIPTION
* *** Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
*** Design, implement, and manage Azure networking solutions (VNETs, VPNs, Express Route, Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, etc.).
* Architect and support AWS networking (VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Security Groups, Route Tables, Load Balancers, etc.).
* Integrate and maintain hybrid network connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments (Megaport, Express Route, Direct Connect, SD-WAN, etc.).
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance across Azure, AWS, and on-premises platforms.
* Implement network security best practices (segmentation, zero trust, encryption, firewall policies, DDoS protection).
* Automate network provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Cloud Formation, etc.).
* Collaborate with Dev Ops and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
* Document network architectures, configurations, and procedures for operational excellence and compliance.
* Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for network-related issues.
* Stay current with cloud networking trends and best practices; recommend improvements and new technologies.
* Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
* Performs related duties as assigned by management.
** Qualifications and Education Requirements
*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 2-4 years’ experience in cloud network engineering, with a strong focus on Azure and AWS.
* Deep expertise in Azure networking services and architecture.
* Solid experience with AWS networking components and integrations.
* Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud networking and on-premises network infrastructure.
* Experience with Express Route, Direct Connect, VPN configurations, and BGP routing.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Network Engineer Associate, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty) are a plus.
