Overview
Job Title: Technical Architect - Warehouse Management Systems
Location: Virtual within the US or Canada
Travel: Travel is expected within the US at 50% - 75%
Core responsibilities focus your efforts as the technical lead for Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Solution implementations for customers across the Americas region. You will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products in the Warehouse Management space, and be on the leading edge with our latest product innovations. You will be the technical liaison across key stakeholders, including customer contacts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical/Business Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive timely and successful delivery of the final solution.
Whatyou’ll do
- Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies
- Apply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes
- Lead technical and integration design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timeline
- Lead integration design with automation vendors
- Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases to ensure a seamless transition to steady-state/support
- Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction
- Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and product roadmaps
- Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects
- Identify product issues, analyze root cause, provide workarounds, and provide inputs to the product team on problem areas
- Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer-specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements
Industry and Product
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Systems, either as a customer or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions
- Experience in end-to-end WMS deployment from blueprint/design to transition to support for varied customers/industries
- Experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as High Jump, Manhattan, or SAP is a plus
- Current or prior experience in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center is preferred
- Experience in integrating ERP/Host systems with Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience with using/testing APIs
- Experience in working with Native SaaS WMS solutions
- Skills:
- Strong technical analysis, technical design, and integration with HOST/ERP systems and automation systems; awareness of tactical planning in overall supply chain
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive audiences; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan technical activities of WMS deployment, track issues via RAID log, and provide tasks to junior resources
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle), SQL, understanding Native SaaS solutions deployed on Azure, Python, Java/J2EE, MOCA
- RESTful Web Services, API, JSON, and testing APIs with Postman
- Education:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Information Systems or equivalent; or Bachelor’s degree with relevant industry experience

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 USD. The salary range reflects anticipated base salary based on current national data; minimums and maximums may vary by location. This role is eligible to participate in either an annual performance bonus or commission program, as appropriate to the position.
