Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Technical Project Manager for our client, a growing Fin Tech company focused on security in Coppell, TX!
This is a full-time, direct hire position offering a hybrid schedule in Coppell.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives within a highly regulated environment. This role partners closely with engineering, product, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality technical solutions for mid‑market to enterprise clients. The ideal candidate brings deep project execution expertise, strong risk management instincts, and experience navigating regulated industries such as financial services or banking.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex technical projects from planning through launch and post‑implementation support
  • Manage schedules, dependencies, risks, and execution using JIRA and Agile delivery frameworks
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and drive alignment across engineering, product, compliance, and business teams
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project and regulatory risks in highly regulated environments
  • Act as the primary point of contact for mid‑to‑enterprise clients, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Track project health, report status to leadership, and ensure delivery meets quality, security, and compliance standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical projects or programs in complex environments
  • Hands‑on experience using JIRA and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models)
  • Strong background in risk management, dependency tracking, and issue resolution
  • Experience working with mid‑market to enterprise‑level clients
  • Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as financial services, banking, fintech, or payments
  • Understanding of banking products, platforms, or financial systems
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, or PMI‑ACP
  • Experience managing projects with security, compliance, or regulatory oversight
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This full‑time position offers an annual base salary up to $120k, commensurate with experience. The organization provides a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage in addition to paid time off.
