Technical Project Manager

Our client,
an American retailer that owns and operates 4 brands that are well known, is looking for someone to join their team as a Technical Project Manager in Coppell, Texas.

This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits offered

The team is looking for an experienced CoE Lead to design and establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Managed Service Provider (MSP) Excellence within the Global Technology Solutions organization. This is a high-impact builder role where the successful candidate will create the CoE framework, standards, governance model, enablement programs, and documentation from the ground up.

• Define the purpose, scope, operating model, and governance structure for the MSP Excellence CoE
• Establish standards council cadence and decision-making processes for SIAM standards, onboarding assets, and training curriculum
• Develop SIAM standards, operational playbooks, and governance procedures for retained teams and vendors
• Create reusable templates, checklists, and reference materials for long-term team use
• Design and deliver training programs covering SIAM principles, vendor governance expectations, and evidence standards
• Build onboarding materials for new providers and team members to support consistent MSP governance practices
• Conduct maturity assessments of the current MSP governance ecosystem and define future-state roadmaps
• Document all CoE assets, standards, processes, and training materials for seamless transition to permanent staff
• Support knowledge transfer and onboarding activities for incoming permanent team members

• 10+ years of experience in consulting or enterprise environments designing and operating CoEs, enablement functions, or governance programs
• Strong background building governance standards, playbooks, and training programs for multi-provider managed services environments
• Experience creating practical, scalable documentation and operational standards that teams actively adopt
• Ability to independently manage scope, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables in a consulting-style engagement
• Strong facilitation, instructional design, and training delivery skills
• Experience conducting maturity assessments and roadmap planning initiatives
• Commitment to creating sustainable processes and documentation that permanent teams can independently maintain
• ITIL, PMP, or related certifications preferred
