Field Service Technician

Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be an essential part of the support team, ensuring the smooth operation of technology infrastructure across various locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to technical support, aligning seamlessly with the organization's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Coppell, TX

Shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 2 am - 11 am

What's the Job?

• Provide support activities in designated areas, including equipment exchange and inventory control management.
• Perform software installations, updates, troubleshooting, and problem resolution on computer and telecommunication systems.
• Train users on supported hardware and software, understanding technology from both user and technical perspectives.
• Assist users in resolving hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Travel using personal vehicle to support technology infrastructure at customer locations and clients facilities as needed.

What's Needed?

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A+ certification required.
• Proficient or advanced skills in Microsoft Office Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capacity to prioritize daily tasks.
