Job Description
The Technical Analyst plays a critical role within the technology organization by bridging Technology Delivery teams and product development partners to ensure business requirements are translated into clear, actionable system and development specifications. This role supports complex, multi‑system environments and works closely with Solution Architects to help design, align, and implement effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with product and technology stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate complex business needs into clear, scalable system and development requirements.
- Serve as a key liaison between Technology Delivery teams, product development, and Solution Architects to ensure alignment across multiple systems and platforms.
- Contribute to product development routines by collaborating closely with Business Analysts and development teams to deepen understanding of DRS products, services, and underlying technologies.
- Support the delivery lifecycle by participating in end‑to‑end system testing to validate functionality, integrations, and business outcomes.
- Assess technical issues by identifying root causes and recommending effective remediation approaches to minimize disruption and improve solution quality.
- Partner closely with Quality Assurance teams to ensure development outcomes meet defined requirements and are production‑ready.
- Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of platform technologies, including end‑to‑end system roles, dependencies, and integrations.
- Identify, document, and communicate opportunities to improve processes, system performance, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- 5+ years of experience in a fast‑paced software development or technology delivery environment, supporting the design and implementation of scalable technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong technical foundation with hands‑on experience in modern development technologies such as .NET Core, SQL, JavaScript/Node.js, and CSS.
- Demonstrated experience designing and working with APIs, including RESTful web services and data formats such as JSON and XML (SOAP a plus).
- Proven experience working within AWS cloud environments, supporting distributed and integrated systems.
- Practical experience using API testing and integration tools such as Postman.
- Proficiency with work management and delivery tools such as Jira (or similar platforms).
- Solid coding background with the ability to understand, review, and collaborate on technical solutions with development teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
