- Defines complex project plans including scope, budget, and schedule, and executes tasks defined in the project plan to achieve project goals using standard project management methodologies and practices.
- Validates, and may help develop, business cases with Customers, as well as develops a project charter.
- Drives Teams and Customers toward decisions.
- Builds partnerships to collaborate and uses influence without authority to gather Customer and business requirements and communicate effectively with all project Teams and Support groups.
- Drives testing and acceptance of project results.
- Partners with resource managers, Business Partners, and vendors to assemble a project Team and provide ongoing motivation to drive projects to completion.
- Leads and facilitates project meetings and presentations to Leadership.
- Establishes cross functional alliances within and outside of the Technology Department to drive results.
- Proactively communicates with Stakeholders, Sponsors and Project Teams to maintain project alignment.
- Continually assesses project needs and resources to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Engages and initiates change leadership to ensure project acceptance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, or Business, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- PMP certification or equivalent work experience as a Project Manager.
- 3+ years work experience in Project Management.
- Knowledge of issues/risk management and project change requests.
- Demonstration of the following:

- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct appropriate research as needed.
- Professional presentation and demeanor.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to maintain and track budget/spending trends.
- Familiarity with warehousing and distribution software.
- Ability to work independently on assignments by researching issues, analyzing data, providing appropriate updates to supervisors, and proposing solutions to problems encountered.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen).
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking and lifting to perform assigned tasks.
- Must be able to safely conduct occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Activities occur in a typical office environment; some activities may be conducted in warehouse.
- Equipment:
Laptop computer, cell phone, fax machine, copier, and desk phone. - Systems:
Microsoft Office 365 Suite, WMS, and Project Management software.
