Vice President, Enterprise Technology & Cybersecurity, CISO

Job Description:

Dave & Buster’s and Main Event are seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Enterprise Technology & Cybersecurity to lead and evolve our enterprise technology and cybersecurity capabilities. This role is responsible for the strategy, delivery, and operation of enterprise applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity programs that support our guests, team members, digital platforms, retail systems, and corporate environments.

The Vice President will ensure technology platforms are secure, scalable, and reliable while enabling business growth, operational excellence, and innovation. This leader will oversee corporate applications (including ERP platforms such as Workday), corporate and store infrastructure, cybersecurity, as well as enterprise-wide AI enablement.

The role partners closely with IT, Digital, Data, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and Operations leaders and will drive a modern, integrated, and secure technology ecosystem across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Technology Strategy & Leadership Define and execute a unified enterprise technology strategy spanning applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI enablement

Establish governance, standards, and operating models to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives

Drive enterprise architecture, technology roadmaps, and modernization initiatives

Enterprise Applications (Corporate Systems)
Lead strategy, delivery, and support of enterprise applications, including ERP (e.g., Workday), HR, finance, and other corporate systems

Ensure systems are scalable, integrated, and aligned with business processes and data strategy

Partner with functional leaders to prioritize enhancements and improve system adoption and business outcomes

Infrastructure & Platform Engineering (Corporate + Field)
Oversee infrastructure strategy and operations across corporate environments and distributed store locations

Lead cloud infrastructure, networking, compute, endpoint systems, and in-store technology infrastructure supporting POS, back office, gaming, and other operational systems

Drive automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and platform engineering practices to improve scalability and efficiency

Ensure high availability through strong operational disciplines including monitoring, incident management, business continuity, and disaster recovery

Cybersecurity & Risk Management Develop and execute the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and governance framework

Lead security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning

Oversee Microsoft security technologies including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Entra  (Azure AD), Purview, Intune, Azure, and Microsoft 365

Drive identity and access management, endpoint security, cloud security, and data protection initiatives

Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory requirements and integrate cybersecurity into enterprise risk management

Lead third-party security reviews, vendor risk assessments, and audit activities

Build and mature a Zero Trust security architecture across the enterprise AI Enablement & Data-Driven Innovation Serve as the enterprise point leader for AI enablement and responsible AI adoption across the business

Partner with data, digital, and business teams to identify and scale AI-driven use cases

Establish governance, standards, and controls for AI and data usage

Enable advanced analytics, automation, and decision intelligence capabilities

Operational Excellence & Reliability Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of critical enterprise systems and store technologies

Partner with Platform Engineering to support SRE/Dev Sec Ops  practices to improve uptime, efficiency, and delivery speed

Lead incident management, observability, and continuous improvement programs

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity

Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities

Communicate risks, priorities, and performance metrics to senior leadership and the Board as needed
