Procurement And Contract Specialist
The Procurement and Contract Specialist serves as a Procurement resource for assigned indirect procurement engagements and commercial contracting activities across multiple business functions. This position manages procurement activities from initial engagement through contract execution and implementation, working closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, Legal, Risk Management, Finance, and other cross-functional partners to help ensure timely and effective execution of business initiatives.
The position independently manages routine and moderately complex indirect procurement engagements, including commercial negotiations, contract development, vendor onboarding, and cross-functional coordination while supporting multiple concurrent business initiatives and ensuring timely execution. Competitive sourcing activities are performed when appropriate to support business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business requirements, project objectives, implementation timelines, and supplier needs.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Manager, Indirect Sourcing, to support high-priority business initiatives by independently managing assigned procurement engagements and helping ensure timely commercial execution.
- Manage assigned procurement engagements from initial request through contract execution and implementation.
- Manage routine and moderately complex procurement initiatives, including competitive sourcing activities when appropriate.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms, service levels, warranties, and implementation commitments within established Procurement guidelines.
- Coordinate contract drafting, commercial review, negotiations, approvals, and execution with Legal, Risk Management, Information Security, Finance, Procurement team, and business stakeholders.
- Drive assigned procurement engagements to completion by proactively coordinating activities, resolving issues, and maintaining communication with business stakeholders.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding, implementation activities, and transition to ongoing business support.
- Maintain procurement documentation, contract files, project status, and supporting records within Procurement systems.
- Provide timely project status updates and communicate risks or issues.
- Escalate complex, high-risk, or executive-level matters to the Senior Manager.

Role Within Procurement:
- Serve as a Procurement resource responsible for driving assigned procurement engagements from request through contract execution and implementation.
- Manage multiple concurrent procurement projects while maintaining responsiveness to business priorities.
- Facilitate timely execution through effective coordination, issue resolution, and cross-functional communication.
- Work collaboratively with Procurement team members to ensure efficient workflow, documentation, and process execution.
- Exercise sound business judgment while appropriately escalating complex or high-risk matters.
Financial Planning & Analytics:
- Improve budgeting and forecasting processes through driver-based planning.
- Develop rolling forecasts and scenario planning capabilities.
- Improve forecast accuracy through predictive planning.
- Deliver executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Support strategic decision-making through meaningful financial insights.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with 2–5 years of progressive experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, contract administration, or supply chain.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements, managing contract development, and coordinating procurement engagements through execution.
