Accounts Payable Manager

Coppell, TX – hybrid, 4 days onsite

One of Vaco's privately‑held global logistics clients is looking to onboard an A/P manager. The company has a new leadership team and is adding several key positions with this role being critical to the org chart. This position seeks strong leaders who can professionalize and elevate domestic and international operations.

$120-130K + bonus

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team, setting clear goals, coaching, and managing performance.
• Oversee daily workload distribution to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payment cycles.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with IT/Finance Systems to optimize AP workflows within ERP and related tools.
• Lead or support system upgrades, automation efforts, and policy updates.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls and audit readiness.
• Serve as primary point of contact for vendor escalations; resolve discrepancies and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to streamline processes and ensure proper coding, approvals, and compliance.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
