Job Summary
The project manager is responsible for the organization, coordination, and communication of Capital improvement projects. The role manages project timelines, technician expectations and execution at site level, and works closely with our internal project teams, capital billing, divisions, partners/subcontractors, and parts. Strong attention to detail, and clear communication are essential to maintaining accuracy and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This role has high visibility and interaction with executive leadership and will be expected to have full ownership of assigned projects.
EssentialJob Functions
- Ability to effectively collaborate with an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, within budget and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintains a positive attitude with the ability to develop strong relationships with all project team members while driving overall project expectations.
- Must take extreme ownership of responsibilities and tasks while driving a culture of transparency in all project work.
- Maintains high level of availability for the installing subcontractor and customer escalation support.
- Acts as the liaison between billing, proposals, sales, manufacturing, distributors, and installing subcontractors.
- Responsible for negotiating and scheduling all freight, storage, equipment, and installation for assigned projects.
- Creates and updates project plans, budgets, optimized installation route plans, and detailed production, and shipping schedules.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands- In office environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
This job requires less than 10% planned business travel.
Education and Experience- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Mechanically and mathematically inclined - innately good with numbers.
- 1-2 years capital engineering/project‑based experience preferred.
- 3+ years of related and/or industry experience required.
- Experience using MS Project or other project management software is a plus.
