YOU'RE NEXT OPPORTUNITY:The Sr. Director, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is a senior enterprise leader reporting to SVP, HSE and responsible for building and shaping scalable, best‑in‑class programs and safety organizations across multiple regions.
This highly visible role serves as a critical link between enterprise strategy and regional execution—leading, aligning, and implementing enterprise HSE priorities while enabling regions to achieve their safety and business outcomes. The leader will play a key role in developing regional leaders for future enterprise opportunities, advancing culture, and ensuring alignment between operational goals and enterprise direction.
This position develops senior leaders, drives accountability, innovation, and performance across regions, and serves as a strategic advisor to executives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Enterprise & Corporate Strategy Leadership
- Translate enterprise HSE strategy into scalable systems, programs, and standards that support enterprise-wide objectives.
- Act as a strategic partner in advancing enterprise initiatives by aligning safety priorities with broader business goals.
- Lead the implementation and execution of enterprise HSE strategy across assigned regions, ensuring consistency and measurable outcomes.
- Provide insights and feedback to influence enterprise strategy based on regional performance, risks, and opportunities.
Regional Leadership & Organizational Development
- Influence and support regional HSE teams to strengthen structure, capability, and bench strength in alignment with organizational growth.
- Partner with regional leaders to support the ongoing development and maturation of safety organizations, including input on hiring, onboarding, and leadership development.
- Drive alignment through collaboration, ensuring consistency in safety expectations, execution, and performance standards across regions.
- Partner with enterprise and regional leadership to integrate safety into business planning and execution, promoting shared ownership and accountability.
Safety Strategy & Culture Advancement
- Align regional safety strategies with enterprise objectives while tailoring execution to meet unique operational needs.
- Champion the continued development of a strong, proactive safety culture, with a focus on site-specific safety ownership and accountability.
- Ensure robust development and execution of site-specific safety plans that reflect both corporate standards and project-level risks.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation across all levels of the organization.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, regulators, and industry partners.
Strategic Communication & Influence
- Provide clear, executive-level reporting on performance, risks, and strategic progress.
