Director Of Fleet Operations
The Director of Fleet Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing fleet operations across Dura Serv's multi-branch, national service organization. This role develops and executes a comprehensive enterprise fleet strategy encompassing safety performance, asset utilization, total cost of ownership, regulatory compliance, and vendor management. The Director of Fleet Operations leverages telematics, advanced data analytics, and financial planning to deliver measurable business outcomes, and communicates fleet performance and strategy to executive leadership and private equity partners.
This position requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with direct supervisory responsibility for the fleet operations team.

Planned Business Travel
- This job requires approximately 10% planned business travel, including visits to branch locations and vendor or strategic partner facilities.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor's degree, preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive fleet operations experience, with demonstrated leadership of large, multi-location fleets (500+ vehicles preferred) in a field service, distribution, or operationally complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience with fleet strategy development, vendor negotiations, lifecycle planning, budget ownership, and cost optimization across a national or regional fleet.
- CAFM (Certified Automotive Fleet Manager) or CPFP (Certified Professional Fleet Professional) certification preferred; experience with fleet leasing models (e.g., Enterprise Fleet Management) and EV/alternative fuel planning is a plus.
