Job Overview

The Senior Vice President (SVP) for the Center of Excellence (COE) of systems integration and deployment will report to the Regional President and collaborate with SVPs across regions and the President of National Accounts. The role focuses on establishing a scalable COE to unify best practices across systems P&Ls and launching new P&Ls in strategic markets to drive enterprise diversification and sustainability.

You’ll Do

Strategic COE Leadership and Oversight: Analyze, unify, and implement best practices across all systems – including Business Development, Engineering & Integration, Estimating, and key supply‑chain strategies. Lead peer meetings, develop a Pre‑Con team for national accounts/vertical support, mentor regional systems P&L leaders, and integrate the overall systems strategy into the enterprise strategy.

Build and Expand P&Ls: Partner with regional or vertical leads to identify opportunities, build business plans, and champion team creation through hires or acquisitions. Track metrics to drive improvement and align with broader goals. Manage Preconstruction from studies to planning, ensuring strong project starts. Lead high‑level client interactions, secure deals, and nurture partnerships.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

Leadership & Development: Hire, coach, and motivate teams, fostering a culture of respect, high standards, and results. Champion direct feedback, set clear goals, and drive accountability, while building scalable learning programs to promote cross‑regional collaboration.

Business Acumen & Entrepreneurship: Demonstrate strong business understanding, develop and manage P&L reports, articulate urgency, and adapt in a fast‑moving environment. Forge key supply‑chain relationships, travel as needed, and develop 3–5 year business plans that respond to industry trends.

Technical & Operational Know‑how: Deep expertise in systems integration, including network, security, surveillance, AV, hospital, airport, and fire alarm systems. Understand estimating strategies, cost drivers, and have successfully managed a business of 10+ years, including acquisitions.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Network systems and infrastructure

• Security, access control, and surveillance

• Audio‑Visual

• Hospital systems (e.g., Nurse Call, infant abduction)

• Airport systems (CUPPS, FIDS, Wayfinding, EDS)

• Fire Alarm, first responder DAS systems integration

What You Bring

• 20+ years of progressive experience in operations, systems integration, and national deployment

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Business Management, Engineering, Systems, or related discipline

Proven track record of executing operational and systems initiatives at high‑growth, multi‑location companies (500+ employees)

• Strong communicator, presenter, and stakeholder liaison

• Experience in change management, program development, and project management

• Construction and/or manufacturing industry experience is a plus

Travel

Up to 40% travel required, including starting up new locations or ventures.

Working Conditions

General indoor work environment with periods of standing, walking, typing, and carrying. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. Noise levels low to medium, can be louder on job sites. Compliance with ADA and reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants.
