Overview

The Senior Manager, Regional International Operations is accountable for the fiscal and operational leadership, direction, and overall management of international operations within the assigned region. Provides leadership to international operations teams to ensure consistent execution of regional operations, driving operational excellence through standardized processes, compliance with company policies, and adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements. Provides oversight of key operational performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring continuous improvement, accountability, and alignment with organizational goals while modeling and acting in accordance with the Company’s Core Values.

Supports the growth of international business by ensuring operational capabilities align with commercial strategy, customer requirements, and market opportunities, in addition to supporting strategic customer initiatives, large‑scale opportunities, and regional business development efforts to achieve revenue growth and long‑term profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Support the business development, sales, marketing and new account development of international services for the region to ensure maximum transportation revenue is generated to achieve profitability goals and objectives. Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, customer service, operations, IT and corporate administration to ensure efficient operations. Assist in new account onboarding and SOP development, and plan and implement appropriate resources to ensure contractual compliance and delivery of quality services that meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Provide the station operations team with daily guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to international operations, communication, revenue enhancement, human resources, procedures standardization, systems applications and process execution. Assist stations with sales presentations, customer bids, and promotion of the company’s products and services. Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of international staff to ensure proper goals, training, professional development and project requirements are met.

    Address all employee performance problems with the station manager and directly in accordance with company personnel policies.
  • Oversee, lead, and direct the fiscal and operational performance of international operations across the assigned region, with accountability for achieving growth, profitability, service excellence, and operational objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and financial performance while ensuring consistent execution of regional priorities. Review and evaluate regional profit and loss performance, identify opportunities to improve financial results, and develop action plans to address budget variances and achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and develop the Regional International Managers (RIMs), ensuring consistent execution of operational strategies, standardized KPI measurement, quality best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across all regions to drive operational excellence and performance consistency.
