Job Overview
Manufacturing Engineer needed for a fast growing niche manufacturing leader. Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year. Responsibilities- Own and continuously improve refurbishment processes for commercial fluid systems and modular dispensing equipment.
- Design and implement scalable, repeatable production processes to optimize throughput and unit cost.
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives on the floor, including 5S implementation, Kaizen events, and Kanban systems.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, yield losses, failure trends, and process variation.
- Drive root cause analysis for quality and reliability issues, executing durable corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, process documentation, and visual standards.
- Train, coach, and support production teams through standardized work and process changes.
- Partner with quality, supply chain, and operations teams to seamlessly transfer new product introductions to the floor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical refurbishment environment with direct process ownership.
- Strong working knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, Kanban, and standard work.
- Self‑motivated problem solver with a strong bias for action, accountability, and minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working directly on the shop floor in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills paired with proficiency in data‑driven analysis tools.
