The Quality Control Technician:
Cable plays a critical role in ensuring that all cable products meet stringent quality standards before reaching customers. This position involves conducting detailed inspections and tests on cable assemblies and components to identify defects or deviations from specifications. The technician collaborates closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve manufacturing processes. By maintaining accurate documentation and reporting quality metrics, the technician supports continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with industry regulations.

Ultimately, this role ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of cable products, contributing to customer satisfaction and company reputation.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably related to cable or wire products.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical testing methods.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.

• Associate degree or technical certification in quality assurance, electronics, or related field.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent cable assembly standards.
• Experience using quality management software and data entry systems.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.
