Emmaüs Connect
Emmaüs Connect, created in 2013 and part of the Emmaüs movement, has empowered over 135,000 individuals facing social and digital challenges with the help of a team of 100 employees and over 1,500 volunteers across 19 action territories. The association tackles the issue of digital exclusion by providing affordable connectivity and equipment, supporting individuals in basic digital skills, and training social action professionals in digital inclusion practices.
Job DescriptionIn collaboration with the head of the Digital Solidarity Space, you will have several key responsibilities:
Support the volunteer network as a reference point
Facilitate integration and follow up on volunteer training sessions
Welcome and onboard new volunteers, and help retain them
Provide tools and support to volunteers in the digital solidarity space
Assist the head of digital solidarity spaces in managing our activities
Support the digital solidarity space team in various operational activities (workshops, interviews, advice, equipment sales, and volunteer support in these activities)
Assist the head of the digital solidarity space in tracking training pathways and workshops related to volunteer activities
Monitor the calendar of digital space activities using our internal software
Support the head in the strategic development of the digital solidarity space
Manage events and communication for the digital solidarity space
Contribute to the monthly newsletter
Regularly communicate with volunteers about available tools
Co-organize events for volunteers (social times, exchange times, information sessions)
Co-organize and lead information meetings for social partners
Create communication materials to support volunteers and beneficiaries based on feedback from the field
If you are drawn to social work, enjoy team collaboration, and value our collective values of kindness, solidarity, entrepreneurship, and responsibility, and you are comfortable leading groups and building connections, you might be a good fit. You should also have a good sense of organization and initiative, and be comfortable with basic computer and online tools.
