Job Title
Registered Nurse (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers
Location:
Coppell, TX (113 State Highway 121)
Clinic
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Schedule:
PRN; minimum 1–2 shifts per week
- Administer all ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy.
- Perform duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice, facility policies/procedures, INS standards of practice, and approved protocols.
- Complete the admission process as directed by the Center Director.
- Perform physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults; refer to the NP on duty as needed.
- Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
- Report all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follow up on any identified problem.
- Evaluate the patient’s response to therapy and document findings.
- Educate patients and/or family members regarding the therapy plan.
- Ensure medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment.
- Adhere to all applicable state, local, and Federal laws and regulations, including HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
- ASN or ADN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state; multi-state licensure required if services are provided in multiple states.
- Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination (or signed waiver) for Paragon and Carelon Health business unit.
- BSN preferred.
- Experience with IVs, Ports, PICCs, and peripheral lines.
- Medication mixing and titration experience.
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology.
- Exceptional time-management skills.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
