Position: Vertical Technical Sales Consultant, Unified Communications, Spectrum Business

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

You sell to new and existing clients, highlighting how our Unified Communications solutions solve their complex communication needs. You partner with teams to define and execute team‑based selling strategies. This role complements the direct Sales and Sales Engineering teams and includes a sales quota for targeted products.

How you can make a difference:
  • Complete our 10‑week paid sales training that earned a Brandon Hall Group gold award.
  • Serve as a focused, performance‑driven regional brand ambassador to drive sales of the Unified Communications product set.
  • Partner with Product teams to develop and advance service attributes.
  • Identify target markets, industries and contacts to develop and implement a sales plan.
  • Field‑based sales roles require flexibility between home, client location and office locations; primarily out in front of clients.
  • Lead consultative meetings, demonstrations and negotiations with stakeholders to close deals.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams to develop and execute team selling strategies.
What you bring to Spectrum Business

Required qualifications:
  • Two or more years of experience in premise‑based sales of voice solutions; five or more years of B2B telecom experience as a proven sales performer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in Managed Network Service Solutions; proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Coachable with the ability to conduct a consultative analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Availability to travel within assigned territories; valid driver’s license.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Industry certifications such as Cisco, Fortinet, Nuage or MEF.
