We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our team in Coppell, TX, for a 5-month engagement. The ideal candidate will possess over 12 years of experience in managing enterprise-level identities, with a heavy emphasis on automating manual administrative tasks within Active Directory. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of the user lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while maintaining strict adherence to RBAC principles and security standards.
ROLES& RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute end-to-end user lifecycle management, including account creation, modifications, disable/enable actions, and de-provisioning through both manual and automated scripts
- Design, implement, and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) frameworks, ensuring proper verification and approval protocols are followed before access grants
- Develop and deploy automation scripts for routine daily tasks and bulk requests to enhance operational efficiency and reduce human error
- Manage and secure file share access and application permissions by creating and configuring appropriate security groups
- Proactively identify process gaps in existing access workflows, taking ownership of process transitions and streamlining them for improved reliability and security
