Sr. Guidewire BillingCenter Developer

As our Sr. Guidewire Billing Center Developer, you will use a variety of tools to help us add functionality and prevent issues in our Guidewire software, specifically in Billing Center transitioning several markets to the Guidewire system.

Requires familiarity with BC Plug‑ins. This is a remote role but does require two onsite days a month. Must live within 100 miles of Coppell, Texas. We cannot sponsor for this role.

• Work on sprint stories; we work in two‑week sprints using an Agile framework. Most days are development days. You'll code in Gosu, using Studio – a variant of Intelli
  
  J customized for Guidewire development.
• Develop batches, UI changes, message queues, web service integrations, modify page configuration files, and write unit tests using Guidewire’s unit testing framework.
• Support testing stories by designing or executing testing plans.
• Present to other developers during code review sessions and sprint reviews, potentially addressing as few as two teammates or the whole team of over 70 developers, and presenting to stakeholders and managers.

• Experience in a production environment; be prepared for on‑call duties, triage tickets, troubleshoot, fix bugs, and review logs to root cause issues.
• Prior experience with Agile teams, including daily stand‑ups and meeting frequent deployment deadlines.
• Experience with Guidewire, especially with Policy Center and Billing Center integration and configurations.
• Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gosu, Intelli
  
  J, and Studio for coding new features; able to use Mulesoft to build APIs and React or Node.js to work on digital apps.
• Understanding of Postman, SOAP, and REST for integrating with various web services.
• Comfortable speaking and presenting to 20 or more people, explaining complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
