Senior Java Developer

Job Description:

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and modern Dev Ops practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and industry experience will be considered.

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Proven experience building REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience leading development efforts and mentoring team members.
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Application Design & Development
• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable Java-based applications and services.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Create reusable, maintainable, and high-performance code.
• Design and implement application integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated test cases.
• Participate in defect analysis, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Ensure adherence to quality, security, and performance standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and daily standups.
