Position Overview

Warehouse and Driver Technician (Class C Non-CDL) supports warehouse operations and assigned projects. Primary duties include shipping/receiving orders, quality control, inventory control, and warehouse logistics. The role also requires operating company vehicles with a Class C license for transport and delivery tasks. The Technician reports to the Supervisor or Manager of Warehouse Operations.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Inbound/Outbound Order Processing
    • Accurately receive, ship, and label product, pick up product from inventoried locations, and pack orders efficiently and accurately for delivery to venues and/or other warehouses.
    • Perform basic quality control (QC) procedures, presentation of equipment, and inventory control.
  • Logistics and Transportation
    • Prepare and process shipments for small parcel, LTL, and via internal fleet.
    • Operate industrial forklifts (sit‑down, reach, stock picker, powered pallet jack).
    • Operate company vehicles requiring a Non‑CDL Class C license for delivery and transportation of goods.
    • Ensure timely and safe delivery of products to designated locations.
    • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Safety
    • Perform daily checklists on forklifts and other equipment.
    • Participate in safety team initiatives.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and transportation regulations while operating vehicles.
  • Warehouse Housekeeping
    • Clean and maintain a safe work area.
    • Maintain equipment as necessary.
  • Customer Service
    • Maintain the highest standards of service while sustaining operational efficiency and a cohesive relationship with other departments.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of equipment.
Job Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs. independently.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong communication skills with team members, leadership, and customers.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with an RF‑based WMS system (preferred).
  • Experience operating industrial forklift equipment.
  • Experience with DOT regulations and telematics electronic ELD logs (preferred).

Work Environment

Work is performed at event venues and in a warehouse. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines in both environments. Warehouse work involves exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, sand, and dust, with varying noise levels. Employees may use high‑end audio‑visual equipment and electrical components. Hours may include irregular shifts, on‑call status, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Driving duties expose employees to variable weather and road conditions, requiring adherence to traffic laws and proper vehicle maintenance.

Long periods of sitting while driving and physical activity for loading/unloading are expected. Safety is paramount and all tasks require strict compliance with safety protocols.

Hourly Pay Range

$15.64 – $20.33 per hour, based on qualifications, location, travel, and experience. Additional compensation may include overtime, bonuses, or incentives where applicable.
