International Import/Export Coordinator

Coppell, TX | Hybrid (Mon–Fri, WFH Wed & Fri)

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
  • $20-$23/hour based upon experience
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • W2, Temp-to-Hire

ROLE IMPACT

This role ensures end-to-end operational success across international and domestic logistics—from pickup through delivery and invoicing. It requires comprehensive understanding of trade regulations, shipping documentation, and cross-border compliance. Coordinators directly impact cost control, timely deliveries, and vendor satisfaction across multimodal transport lanes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate all phases of international and domestic shipments, from pickup to final delivery
  • Prepare and verify import/export documentation in compliance with U.S. and international regulations
  • Analyze service lanes for efficiency, cost, and performance; implement improvement measures
  • Liaise with global vendors and logistics partners to resolve escalations and enhance service quality
  • Monitor and report department KPIs including on-time performance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years’ experience in import/export logistics, including document prep and carrier coordination
  • Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish (written and oral)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; accurate data entry required
  • Knowledge of compliance standards for both imports and exports
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • International shipment and customs documentation platforms
  • Transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Email and phone-based vendor coordination
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Prior experience handling A–Z freight across all modes of transport
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and tariff classifications
  • Vendor performance management and escalation resolution
