Position Overview

Position Overview C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties.

All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc…), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product.

• DOT Certified, Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.
• Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements.
• One year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Minimum 1 year of recent applicable CMV experience or participation/completion of a company approved CDL truck driving school.
• Attendance, Initiative, Productivity, Quality, Safety, Values.
• Shift 1st Shift (United States of America).
