Driver Helper - Coppell, Texas

Job Summary

The Driver’s helper is responsible for assisting the driver in all day-to-day activities. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the truck, along with any other duties the driver may need.

Shift: 7:00AM – 3:30PM, Monday – Friday. Overtime is paid.

• Accurately load daily route onto the truck
• Scan daily route onto the truck
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries
• Assist driver with carrying freight into a business or residence destination
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
• Ability to lift 75lbs. unassisted
• Must possess good customer service skills

High School or better.

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above the head
• Regularly lift/move up to 50pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts
• Regular use of a phone and PC; reading and writing of various shipping documents
