Warehouse Manager - Coppell, TX

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations Management:
  Directly oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing and inventory control.
• Team Leadership:
  Supervise, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates. This includes performance management, scheduling, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Receiving:
  Manage the receiving inspection process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards. outbound shipping activities, coordinating with carriers and ensuring timely delivery. Resolve any shipping/receiving discrepancies.
• Inventory Accuracy:
  Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, physical inventories, and SAP transaction management. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• SAP Expertise:
  Utilize SAP (specifically MM and SD modules) to manage inventory, process orders, generate reports, and track shipments. Be a subject matter expert for the team on SAP warehouse processes.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy within the warehouse.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate and up-to-date warehouse documentation, including procedures, work instructions.
• KPI Monitoring:
  Develop, track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse performance, such as inventory accuracy, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment rates.
• Problem Solving:
  Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, escalating as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate with other departments such as Procurement, Production, Quality, Shipping and Sales to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
