Warehouse Replenishment & Equipment Operator

Overview

Join our Staples World Class Supply Chain Team and deliver essential products to our customers.

• Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator: operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to pick and move product up to 100 lbs within the warehouse, following safety procedures. Not all work will involve equipment.
• Warehouse Porter: perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility while adhering to safety procedures and operate material handling equipment to move products as needed.
• Warehouse Replenishment: operate equipment to pick product up to 100 lbs and move within the warehouse following safety procedures. Not all work will involve equipment.
• Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns: confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies and damages, communicate with internal and external contacts to resolve issues, manually unload trucks and palletize products, and operate equipment to move products safely.
• Warehouse Returns: move product within the warehouse, match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips, check in returned items and tag them appropriately, and operate equipment to move products safely.
• Shipping: organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets, load trucks manually, lift and carry products in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

• Material Handling Equipment Operator certification and the ability to safely operate required equipment.
• Ability and willingness to keep the work area clean.

• Ability to follow safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.

• Minimum three (3) months of related experience in a warehouse environment, or equivalent training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If hired as a Full-Time associate, ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required based on business need.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing 70 to 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Minimum age of 18 years old.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker is helpful.

• Competitive Pay Rate: $23.45/hour (includes $1.00/hour Shift Differential)
