Job Overview
Seasonal full‑time position (40+ hours per week, including Saturdays) at Samaritan's Purse located in Coppell, TX. Work begins mid‑November and ends mid‑December, leading the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center Management Team.
General Responsibilities- Work side by side with employees and volunteers to provide support for children worldwide.
- Train, oversee, and coach a diverse team united in service.
- Manage operations vital to processing over 10 million shoebox gifts.
- Assist in the set‑up and tear‑down of the processing center.
Manages teams and operations that support shoebox gift processing and ensures optimal quality control. Requires warehouse experience, organizational skills, multitasking ability, computer/technology competency, and servant‑leader teamwork.
Volunteer ManagerOversees the volunteer registration process. Requires strong leadership, ability to engage and direct a high‑volume volunteer pool, proficient computer skills, and coaching ability to provide an excellent volunteer experience.
Floor ManagerOversees processing of shoebox gifts, training, coaching, and oversight of volunteers to ensure efficient processing and a positive volunteer experience. Requires servant‑leader heart, large‑team management, excellent organization, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Shipping ManagerManages outbound shipping container schedules, loading of processed inventory, and accurate shipment paperwork. Requires strong leadership, computer/technology competency, and the ability to train and coach a seasonal team. Knowledge of shipping and operations preferred.
Receiving ManagerOversees inbound shipments, unloading, tracking, storage, and movement of shoeboxes into the processing area. Requires strong leadership, basic computer skills, and training/coach ability. Knowledge of receiving and operations preferred.
PC TechnicianSupports technology operations, setting up and maintaining scanners, printers, and other equipment. Responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues and assisting staff and volunteers. Requires strong organizational skills, computer/technology competency, multitasking in a fast‑paced environment, and a servant‑hearted approach.
Compensation & LogisticsPay rate: $25.00 per hour.
