Operations Supervisor – Coppell, TX
Primary Shift: Mid‑shift, Monday through Friday 08:00‑17:00. Secondary Responsibility:
Serve as a swing shift supervisor, providing coverage for weekend day or night supervisor shifts as needed.
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in a stockroom, warehouse, or yard.
- Maintain adequate records of inventory adjustments – cycles, physicals, and catch weight audits.
- Assist with Inventory Control and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain Supply Areas and computerized records of inventory.
- Perform cycle counts, investigate variances, and adjust inventory records as required.
- Review inbound appointment log and open order report each day to plan work activities.
- Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
- Determine staffing needs based on workload and schedule staff accordingly.
- Assign workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
- Review and update operational procedures, ensuring they are communicated to warehouse associates.
- Track productivity and qualify performance by individual, function, and department.
- Work with Inventory Control to ensure highest level of inventory accuracy.
- Manage payroll of department.
- Advise employees on handling received, stored, and shipped items; methods and use of equipment.
- Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year.
