Special Education Teacher Full-Time | In-Person | 2026–2027 School Year Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance Available to Qualified Candidates

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based position for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and committed to creating an inclusive educational environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with state standards and individualized student goals.
  • Adapt curriculum, instructional methods, and materials to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff to ensure student success.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families and educational team members.
  • Implement positive behavior support strategies and classroom management techniques.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) with appropriate Special Education certification.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, ARD processes, IEP development, and special education compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • School-based experience preferred but not required.
