PRIMARY
PURPOSE:
Assist in looking through boxes stored in warehouse and confirm files have required permanent documents.
Prepare and upload required documents onto records storage system.
Help in the destruction of documents that have met disposition according to retention schedule.
Conduct an inventory of all records stored in the warehouse.
Conduct inventory of textbooks and material currently stored at warehouse.
Inventory instructional materials at each campus location.
Receive and transport out of adoption material to warehouse location.
Receive and inventory recent adopted textbooks and materials for district.
Barcode, prepare and deliver textbooks and materials to designated campus.
QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to read and write
Must be able to follow directions
Must maintain proper personal hygiene
Must be able to provide personal protective footwear
Must be current CCISD student
MAJORRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Moves inventory to various locations.
Loads and unloads delivery trucks
Maintains a positive attitude at all times
Follows CCISD Dress Code and Policies
Works as team member of CCISD Warehouse
Assist other departments with the movement and storage of boxes in the warehouse.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Director or Textbook Coordinator
EQUIPMENT USED:Equipment will include but not limited to the following, pallet jacks (electric and manual) 10-key adding machine, computer, ladder, dolly and hand carts.
WORKING CONDITIONS:Mental Demands:
Must be able to effectively communication skills and have the ability to operate computer. Possess mental and emotional maturity to work with or without supervision.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:The physical/environmental demands/factors described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job which include continuous walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching with hands and arms, work on ladders. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Environmental factors include exposure to dampness, humidity, hot and cold weather, and slippery or uneven walking surfaces and dusty environment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Walking, standing, and climbing; heavy lifting and carrying; stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching; work outside and inside; around machinery with moving parts; and around moving objects or vehicles.
