Position: Project Management Specialist (Private Label and E-Commerce)

Langley Farm Market is a growing small‑format grocery chain specializing in high‑quality, specialty foods sourced from local suppliers. With six locations across Metro Vancouver, we offer a diverse range of fresh produce, premium meats, specialty groceries, baked goods, and delicatessen items.

We also proudly develop and manage our own private label brands — a key area of growth for our business. Our commitment to quality and value has earned us the 2025 Consumer Choice Award for Best Fruit & Vegetable Store in Vancouver. As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a versatile and driven Project Management Specialist to support product development and e‑commerce across the company.

Who

You Are

You are a detail‑oriented, organized, and fast‑moving professional with an entrepreneurial mindset. You enjoy taking ownership of projects, working cross‑functionally, and bringing structure to fast‑moving environments. Ideally, you have experience in FMCG, food retail, or consumer products — and you’re excited about healthy, high‑quality food and building brands customers love.

What You’ll Do

1. Private Label Product Development

Help bring new products to life from concept to shelf:

  • Coordinate the full new product development process, from identifying opportunities with buyers to onboarding suppliers and preparing items for launch.
  • Work with finance, buying, and account management teams to maintain a strong and viable product pipeline.
  • Support category and competitive analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Ensure profitability and viability assessments are completed for all new items.
  • Manage new packaging development — briefing designers, coordinating revisions, and securing final approvals.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure packaging is accurate, appealing, and compliant with food labeling regulations.
  • Gather product information from manufacturers, coordinate translations, and determine key messaging.
  • Maintain and update product labels as needed.

Ensure our online presence is accurate, appealing, and aligned with in‑store operations:

  • Support day‑to‑day operations of marketplace platforms for food delivery, ensuring accurate product availability, pricing, and content.
  • Set up and update product listings, maintain catalogue feeds, and resolve data or listing issues with platform support teams.
  • Ensure product images and descriptions are accurate and consistent across all platforms.
  • Coordinate with buyers, stores, and warehouse teams to keep online assortments current and support smooth new product launches.
  • Maintain pricing and promotional updates to match in‑store programs.
  • Audit marketplace storefronts regularly for accuracy, appeal, and brand compliance.
  • Train store teams on marketplace fulfillment processes and support them in resolving operational issues.
  • Monitor platform performance and share insights on sales trends, out‑of‑stocks, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
  • Experience in project coordination within a fast‑moving environment, ideally in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods.
  • Understanding of food compliance and regulations is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work cross‑functionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Passion for organic, natural, and healthy food is a strong plus.
  • Experience with managing Woo Commerce and ERP integration is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset.
Why Join Us?
  • Play a key role in shaping and growing our private label brands.
  • Work across product development, marketing, and e‑commerce — a rare opportunity to build broad experience.
  • Join a collaborative, entrepreneurial team where your ideas matter.
  • Make a meaningful impact in a growing company committed to better food and better choices.
