As a vital member of the district management team, you will actively engage in developing strategies that focus on safety and growth. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to create effective customer acquisition strategies and manage the negotiation of transportation costs.
Your role also includes ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and building relationships with key government officials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development of safety programs
• Analyze local market trends for competitive advantage
• Negotiate third-party transfer station agreements
• Collaborate with sales on territory planning
• Liaise with local government on waste management
Requirements:
• 5–8 years in sales or operations management
• Preferred degree in business or commerce
• Strong planning and analytical skills
• Proven sales and negotiation abilities
• Knowledge of the waste management industry is beneficial
