Scope of the Position

Responsible for efficient inventory planning (and related processes), to ensure availability of goods as a key competitive advantage, and to achieve operational targets. Responsible for maintaining inventory levels and assortment.

Major Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and maintaining product assortment, inventory, and safety stock levels, forecast accuracy, transfer frequency, and lead times.
  • Review, assess, and report on supply and demand variability, and identify opportunities to manage and mitigate risk.
  • Update parameters (or be responsible for parameter updates) product and kit setup.
  • Take preventive measures to avoid stock outs and missed sales.
  • Perform alternate products sources analysis.
  • Review various reports for exceptional usage, expiring thresholds, lead times and frozen reasons.
  • Assist on inbound shipment execution and allocation plans for products, ensuring optimal inventory deployment across branches.
  • Perform timely vendor pricing updates in ERP.
  • Manage obsolescence, stock rebalancing.
  • Manage vendor returns/stock rotation.
  • Ensure data integrity (master data maintenance).
Requirements
  • High school completion required.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred (ex – inventory management).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Inventory Control, Purchasing or Warehouse logistics.
