Responsible for efficient inventory planning (and related processes), to ensure availability of goods as a key competitive advantage, and to achieve operational targets. Responsible for maintaining inventory levels and assortment.
Major Responsibilities- Analyzing and maintaining product assortment, inventory, and safety stock levels, forecast accuracy, transfer frequency, and lead times.
- Review, assess, and report on supply and demand variability, and identify opportunities to manage and mitigate risk.
- Update parameters or be responsible for parameter updates for product and kit setup; take preventive measures to avoid stock‑outs and missed sales.
- Perform alternate product source analysis.
- Review various reports for exceptional usage, expiring thresholds, lead times and frozen reasons.
- Assist on inbound shipment execution and allocation plans for products, ensuring optimal inventory deployment across branches.
- Perform timely vendor pricing updates in ERP.
- Manage obsolescence, stock rebalancing.
- Ensure data integrity through master data maintenance.
- High school completion required.
- Post‑secondary diploma or degree preferred (e.g., inventory management).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in inventory control, purchasing or warehouse logistics.
