Tax Services Manager

Our client, a global professional services organization specializing in tax and advisory services, is seeking a Tax Services Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the Global Compliance & Reporting (Tax) team supporting corporate, partnership, trust, and individual clients across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capability, advanced technical tax knowledge, and a proactive, client-focused approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Tax Services Manager
Location: Vancouver, BC
Pay Range: $92k to $138k per year base salary, depending on experience.

What’s the Job?

• Manage and coordinate tax compliance and provision engagements for a diverse client portfolio
• Execute corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax assignments, including planning, compliance, and controversy matters
• Provide high-quality, timely tax services that meet or exceed client expectations
• Coach and mentor junior staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and professional development
• Identify tax planning opportunities, contribute to thought leadership, and stay current on legislative and regulatory changes

• Undergraduate degree in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of Canadian corporate tax experience
• Professional accounting designation or equivalent relevant certification
• Completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course
• Strong supervisory, analytical, leadership, and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
