Our client is a high‑profile organization with its head office located in the Lower Mainland. An excellent position has arisen for a CPA to function as Director of Finance & Administration.
Responsibilities- Oversee all accounting and financial reporting and analysis for the group of companies.
- Cash‑flow monitoring and forecasting.
- Detailed budgeting.
- Prepare external financial statements for six companies.
- Prepare monthly management reporting, financial statements, and consolidations.
- Review monthly reconciliations of G/L accounts prepared by staff.
- Analyze income statements and operations results, monitoring actual versus budget spending.
- Liaise with group insurance agent for rate renewal and administration of group extended medical insurance plans.
- Supervise the accounting staff on a daily basis and prepare analysis, forecasts, internal reports, schedules, and financial and non‑financial information for due diligence and disclosure statements for purchase agreements and corporate transactions.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
A CPA is required. Candidates should be comfortable working in a relatively hands‑on environment.
