Performing technical research and prepare tax correspondence and memos for estate planning and corporate reorganizations
Completing complex tax planning calculations for corporate reorganizations and divestitures
Completing complex tax compliance
Providing support for team members on tax related matters for all clients
On an ongoing basis, identify opportunities for additional services with existing clients and proactively move the opportunity forward within the firm as required
What you must have:
Undergraduate University degree
CPA designation (preferred)
Enrolled in the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course would be an asset but not required
3 years of public practice experience
Familiarity with the issues and challenges faced by small-to-medium sized businesses
Independent, highly motivated, and a self-starter
Multi-tasker and can manage multiple clients simultaneously
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Effective relationship-builder – they want their clients and your direct reports to love you!
