As an essential part of the leadership team, the Support Services Manager oversees daily operations for Food Services, housekeeping, and laundry, enhancing the quality of life for residents. You will guide and support the team while ensuring adherence to corporate standards and operational goals. This role involves budget management while also engaging in team development and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily Food, Housekeeping, and Laundry service delivery
• Manage budgets and develop operational plans for departments
• Conduct staff training and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with dietary and safety regulations
• Coordinate special events and programs during service
Requirements:
• Degree in Nutrition and Food Services Management
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in a geriatric setting
• Current Serving It Right Certification
• Food Safe Level 1 required;
Level 2 an asset
• Criminal Record Check as per provincial guidelines
Shape the quality of care and service by managing food and support operations effectively.
