Position: HR and Talent Operations Manager Role
Maximize your impact as a People and Talent Operations Manager, responsible for comprehensive payroll, contractor payments, and benefits in Canada and the U.S. This role emphasizes onboarding and legal compliance across various regions.

Drawing on 3-5 years of experience in HR or People Operations, you will oversee payroll and improve onboarding and offboarding procedures. Your expertise will support recruiting by managing ATS systems and coordinating interview processes. You will also build HR policies to facilitate the growth of around 40 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll and contractor payments across U.S. and Canada

• Design and implement structured onboarding and offboarding

• Ensure compliance with employment regulations across jurisdictions

• Support recruiting through ATS and external partnerships

• Develop and document HR policies for scaling

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant HR experience in startups

• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment laws

• Proven experience in developing HR processes

• Familiarity with ATS platforms, preferably Ashby

• Self-starter with excellent organization skills
