Salary: $72,479.17 - $83,518.06 (Annually)
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Senior Manager, Film & Special Events, the Film Supervisor schedules, trains, supervises, and directs Film Liaison Coordinator staff and contracted temporary Film Liaisons in the completion of on‑site services and site supervision for various filming and special events. The supervisor is accountable for film scouts, technical, and wrap surveys at Provincial Rental Housing Corporation/BC Housing Management properties.
Candidate Profile- Diploma in business administration, video production, or other relevant discipline.
- Considerable progressive experience in a related field.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced continuously evolving environment and with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Considerable supervisory experience, including enforcing policies and procedures and inspecting buildings to identify maintenance issues.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the employer.
Skills and Abilities
- Sound knowledge of film industry operations.
- Sound knowledge of construction and services contact documentation.
- Ability to learn and apply BC Housing’s internal controls and business practices.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, investigative, problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including a high degree of tact and diplomacy under stressful situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Criminal Record Check is required.
- In‑house training and courses related to current positions.
