Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Manager, Gordon Ramsay Burger, this position is responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant. Provides input for Performance Evaluations. Implements new restaurant initiatives as directed. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Schedules and supervises team members; verifies time and attendance; assigns shift work assignments; ensures appropriate coverage while minimizing operating costs as directedImplements new F&B initiatives as directedMonitors cash outs and forwards discrepancy reports to management/accountingCompletes shift reports for management and for the next shiftMonitors restaurant flowKeeps hosts organized with open table reservationsOrganizes and participates in the monthly inventory count and forwards inventory reports to managementOffers food and beverage expertise to internal and external customersLiaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDevelops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members and vendorsEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsEnsures compliance with Gordon Ramsay Service standardsManages other initiatives as requiredEducation and Qualifications
Post Secondary education in hospitality or suitable combination of education and experienceMust be available to work a flexible schedule as this role will require regular evenings and weekend workMinimum 1 year food and beverage team lead experienceFood Safety level 1 & 2 certificationServing it Right certificationAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communicationComputer literacy in MS OfficePOS experienceAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseWork Environment Considerations
Regular restaurant environment, standing or walking for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
