We are in search of a proactive Outside Sales Representative who is motivated to learn, grow, and succeed in our organization for our Vancouver, BC District.
Responsibilities- The Outside Sales Representative will prospect new business while providing excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Reaching out to potential customers by cold calling, managing your robust sales pipeline with a great sales tool.
- Use our in‑house sales tool to manage customer information instead of traditional paper.
- Receive training on our service offerings and present them to customers.
- Utilize a consultative selling approach to match prospects’ needs to Waste Connections services and secure long‑term partnerships.
- Sourcing new business opportunities within the Surrey region.
- Enter intelligence gathered into the ARES system for future follow‑up.
- 3‑4 years of solid business‑to‑business (B2B) sales experience.
- Experience with contract selling is an asset.
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of ARES, Salesforce, or comparable CRM tool is a plus.
- Must have own vehicle for visiting existing customers and pursuing new prospects.
- Must be able to pass all pre‑employment requirements.
- Competitive wages ($65,000‑$70,000 plus commission).
