What you’ll need to have- Strong selling skills with a proven ability to convert customer needs into solutions and completed orders
- A customer service–driven mindset, with the ability to build trust and long‑term relationships
- Confidence leading customer appointments and guiding customers through complex purchasing decisions
- Comfort working with digital tools, design software, and omnichannel selling environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, engaging way
- Proactively engage with customers to deliver excellent service and ensure a “first time right” experience, working preventively to avoid issues
- Take the lead in customer appointments, clearly communicating IKEA kitchen solutions, benefits, and value, and adapting proposals based on customer feedback to successfully convert plans into orders in line with sales steering goals
- Stay up to date on IKEA kitchen products, features, benefits, and technical capabilities, while being an early adopter of new selling tools and digital developments
- Professionally and transparently compare IKEA’s product and service offers with competitors, helping customers make informed decisions
- Actively promote and sell the full range of IKEA kitchen services, ensuring customers understand the added value and support available to them
- Contribute to the store and kitchen business plan by delivering on agreed business objectives, sales targets, and personal goals
- Deeply understand customers’ needs, dreams, and life situations, staying informed about trends, living conditions, and buying behaviours to create relevant, affordable, functional, and sustainable kitchen solutions

The starting rate/ salary for this position is 21.88 CAD.
