Role Overview
As a Commercial Sales Associate (CSA), you will help Certa Pro Painters grow our commercial client base by building relationships with local businesses and key decision-makers such as property managers, realty partners, and facility contacts. You’ll introduce our services, set up conversations, and maintain relationships through consistent follow-up. You will receive structured training, tools, and office support—so you can focus on meeting people, creating opportunities, and generating qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
Complete training on Certa Pro systems, messaging, and weekly activity expectations.
Connect with commercial contacts (property managers, realtors, strata/facility contacts) to introduce our services and build relationships.
Generate and qualify leads by setting meetings and capturing accurate project details.
Follow up consistently to keep opportunities moving forward.
Coordinate with the office/estimating team to schedule site visits and support proposal preparation.
Track activity and provide weekly updates on meetings, leads, and follow-ups.
Represent Certa Pro professionally at local networking opportunities as assigned.
Complete required assessments (Caliper test) and final interview stage (if selected).

Requirements
Fluent in English with strong communication and organization skills
Minimum 5 years of overall work experience (any field)
At least 1 year of B2B sales, business development, or customer-facing experience (Canada experience not mandatory)
Comfortable meeting commercial contacts (property managers, realtors, strata/facility teams, local business owners) with professionalism and patience
Self-motivated and consistent with outreach, follow-ups, and relationship-building
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for meetings
Eagerness to learn — painting industry experience not required; full training and support provided
